Who we are
MMedia ("MMedia", "we", "us") is a digital and marketing studio founded in 2017 by Yoshi Mua and David Bara. We operate muamedia.com and this site, law.muamedia.com. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect
Information you give us
- [+]Booking an intro call. Our booking page is a Google Calendar appointment schedule. When you book, you provide your name, email address, and anything you type into the notes field. Google processes this on our behalf and it lands in our calendar and inbox.
- [+]Emailing us. If you email info@muamedia.com, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you attach.
Information collected automatically
- [+]Analytics. Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, time on page, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, device type, and browser.
- [+]Advertising measurement. The Meta (Facebook) Pixel records page views and, where you arrived from a Meta ad, links that visit to your Meta account for campaign measurement.
- [+]Server logs. Our host, Vercel, logs IP address, user agent, and requested URL as part of delivering and securing the site.
We do not ask for, and this site has no field for, payment details, government identifiers, or confidential case information. Please do not send us privileged or client-confidential material through this website.
Why we use it

- [+]To understand which pages and which ads bring firms to this site, so we can spend our marketing budget sensibly.

Where UK/EU data protection law applies, our lawful bases are consent (analytics and advertising cookies), performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (responding to enquiries and booking calls), and legitimate interests (running, securing, and improving our business), balanced against your rights.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets cookies and similar identifiers through the third-party services listed below. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles ourselves, and we do not operate a cookie banner on this site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or adjust your Meta ad preferences. Blocking them will not stop you from using any part of this site.
Who else sees it
We share information only with the service providers that make this site work. Each of them processes it under their own privacy terms:
Site analytics. Sets cookies, receives IP address and browsing activity on this site.
Appointment scheduling. Receives the name, email, and notes you submit when booking a call.
Serves the typefaces used on this site. Your IP address is disclosed to Google when fonts load.
Advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel. Receives page-view events and Meta identifiers.
Hosting and content delivery. Processes IP address and request data in server logs.
Hosts the welcome video shown after you book a call. Sets cookies and receives playback data on that page only.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, and we would pass information to a buyer if the business were ever sold. We do not sell personal information for money. The Meta Pixel described above may, however, count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. You can stop it by blocking cookies in your browser, by using the opt-out links in section 04, or by emailing us.
These providers are US-based, so information may be processed in the United States. Transfers out of the UK/EU rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and Data Privacy Framework certifications.
How long we keep it
- [+]Enquiries and booking records: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or you become a client.
- [+]Client project records: for the length of the engagement plus 7 years, for tax and contractual reasons.
- [+]Analytics data: retained on Google's default schedule (currently 14 months) and held in aggregate afterwards.
- [+]Server logs: retained by Vercel on a short rolling window, typically 30 days or less.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or opt out of sale or sharing. Residents of California, and of the UK and EU, have these rights by statute.
Email info@muamedia.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you or treat you differently for exercising a right. If you are in the UK or EU and you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Security and children
The site is served over HTTPS and we limit access to enquiry data to the two of us. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant regulator if a breach affects your information and the law requires it.
This site is for business audiences. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Please check back if it matters to you.
